North Carolina ... during a dignified transfer at Dover Air Force
Base, Delaware.
The two U.S. Army soldiers were killed in a suicide
vehicle-borne improved explosive device (IED) detonated close to their
NATO led convoy near the southern Afghanistan city of Kandahar on August
2, 2017.
Hunter and Harris were assigned to 2nd Battalion,
504th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne
Division, Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
