Lt. Col. Raible, 40, former commanding officer, Marine Attack Squadron 211, Marine Aircraft Group 13, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing ... died while supporting combat operations in Helmand Province, Afghanistan, Sept. 15, 2012. Raible, a native of North Huntingdon, PA, received his commission in 1995, climbing through the ranks until he commanded the Wake Island Avengers of VMA-211.
