Two fascinating Civil War era vessels, which eluded search efforts for more than a hundred years, are brought to life in this story of loss, recovery and restoration. The USS Monitor and the H.L Hunley
became virtual time capsules when the ocean claimed them in the 1860's. Marine
archeologists are working to find clues about their final moments and to share
their stories with the public.
