Darryl Worley
There For The Troops

Collectibles, apparel, and other gifts ... for Marines, Soldiers, Airmen, Sailors, and veterans!
USA Patriotism! proudly recognizes . . . patriot Darryl Worley for his ongoing support of our troops through his performances and other charitable activities including the American Freedom Festival.

Honoring and serving the men and women of America's armed forces has always been very important to Darryl Worley. For generations that date back to the civil war, his family has served in the military. During Christmas of 2002, Darryl jumped at the opportunity to participate in his very first USO Tour by visiting our troops in Afghanistan, Kuwait and Uzbekistan on the "Sergeant Major of the Army Hope and Freedom Tour."

They played shows and genuinely showed support for the undying effort of the men and women of America's armed forces. He repeated the trip during the Christmas season of 2003 adding Iraq to the above counties he visited and again Christmas 2004.

The 2002 "Sergeant Major of the Army Hope and Freedom Tour," was a life changing experience for Darryl. However he was not content to just visit the troops in the AOR. When he returned home he wanted to continue to show his support and pay tribute to all the men and women of America's armed forces for their service. Thus he wrote the mega hit "Have You Forgotten?"

In addition the his efforts behind the song "Have You Forgotten?", Darryl with the Sergeant Major of the Army (retired) Jack L. Tilley organized a benefit concert called the American Freedom Festival, which takes place on Veterans' Day, November 11. The event is 100% volunteer driven and benefits a newly founded charitable organization called the American Freedom Foundation, Inc.  Via the American Freedom Foundation, Inc. this event raises money for various veterans' organizations with special emphasis directed to welfare and educational issues facing those wounded in action, amputees and families and children of veterans killed in action during Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.

The first AFF event was in Tampa FL. This past November, the American Freedom Festival joined forces with the Country Music Association in becoming a centerpiece event in the NYC Big Events marketing campaign "Country Takes New York City". American Freedom Festival was held at the historic Roseland Ballroom in New York City. That very special night saw Darryl and SMA Tilley donate major dollars to USA Cares, Coalition to Salute America's Heroes and Fisher House. This year on November 10, the American Freedom Festival will be held at Constitution Hall in Washington, DC.

In October of 2004, Darryl performed at various military installations throughout Korea bringing music and a spirit of gratitude to the troops in this far away land.

For his support of our military and contributions to their welfare, Darryl has received numerous awards including the 2003 USO Award of Merit and the 2003 VFW Americanism Award.

Darryl continues to support and serve the men and women of America's armed forces by visiting installations around the country and participating in welcoming home soldiers from their tours our duty around the world.
