The Day The Towers Fellcountry as flag
Remembering September 11, 2011September eleventh two thousand and one,
Nothing was diff'rent 'bout how it begun.
Who would have known that Americans would die?
Thousands of people would meet their death from the sky.

Four planes of ours were taken and used to kill,
People watched this on TV as America stood still.
One tower was hit and it was instantly aired,
We watched the other one hit, then we were scared.

The Pentagon was the next one to be hit,
We were watching TV and couldn't believe it.
America was being attacked, this we knew well,
This all happened on the day the towers fell.

The next one hit a field in Shankesville, PA,
The people on this plane are looked at as heroes today.
The took the plane back and stopped the terrorists from further disaster,
The victims were more prepared so they were able to do it faster.

America was changed forever on that bittersweet day,
Three thousand plus people lost their lives in a horrible way.
