When a soldier goes to war He goes for his God and country. They leave our gorgeous land To fight on foreign soil. They don't know if they will come home. There are many types of soldiers. But one thing is the same And that is the soldier's prayer... "I pray that the war will soon end Then I'll be at home or dead And if I am to die I pray that I will never be forgotten for defending this country And I pray that those who fight after me Will be remembered too For we didn't die for ourselves We died for you."
