Home, Promise Me... |

That when their ships draw closer
and their planes are setting down,
you'll cheer for those onboard
as if I'm still around...
see my efforts showing
in the ones who made it home;
clasp those brave hands knowing
they fought beside my own;
then show my bros arriving
those smiles you saved for me;
and I'll have died surviving,
for my spirit will be free! |
