I Cry Because... |

I am crying
for those gone
long ago!
stillness
... and graves weeping
silence!
... covering our war,
and young lives!
I am an old soul
living a past!
I have no politics
... no future
... no opinions
anymore.
No answers!
... Just
A hand
salute! as war begins
again.
I cannot �Welcome Home'
those innocents
who stand by,
unknowing...!
... and quietly
afraid.
I can only raise my hand...
Salute!
and... wish them...
well. |
