Guess it Never Mattered... Anyway |

Feb 66... 3 Corps
just madness
and night turning green to black
and the sun falling away
and quiet forgot itself
and the night
exploded'
... darkness was a scream.
No one cared
'cept me and those in the fire.
Halo' and a damn 'Hello"
and wire' fallin'
and enemy fallin'
... all around
the fire.
Just pointing what I got...
to the fire.
...just standin' up in front
of the fire.
... just bein' the wire.
Just a lone soldier
in front of the fire.
... and then it all just went away
and morning found me cryin'
morning found me.
