Good times?...
were moments
lost.
I know that they were
there,
but I have lost them.
... and I sit quietly
by myself
alone
and lonely...!
Quiet
Waiting
To hear sounds and voices from the past.
Messages that whisper,
"We are OK Sarge!"
... but the night always falls
deep within
the very same darkness
that I have always known.
There was no
"Good Morning!"
my friend
No
real "Good Morning"
in Vietnam... |
