Desert Angels | |
|
Across the desert sky,
where soldiers angels fly.
Soaring high above,
over a land in need of love.
Here where angels watch over,
and wrap their arms,
around every soldier.
In an angels arms a soldier is freed,
from the scars and wounds that bleed.
Desert angels walk this land,
without a footprint in the sand.
Soldiers who are unaware,
that an angel was always there.
Pouring out their mercy and grace,
an oasis from this wicked place.
When the desert angels cry,
teardrops fall from the sky.
Flooding the desert sands,
washing the blood,
from a soldiers hands.
Hope and love the angels send,
here they come as a friend.
Freedom the angel sings,
saving the fallen,
when she spreads her wings. | By Jamie Badour Copyright 2007 Listed
