A Tribute
To Lost Lives |
|
|
We never thought it
could happen to us
We never thought it
would be the U.S.
All those lost lives
in all that debris
Fires everywhere as
far as one could see
The devastation that was
in their eyes
As they all looked
up toward the skies
Told the story of what
once was there
It all seemed like
a bad nightmare
The look upon their faces
when they saw the buildings fall
They had no words to say
their faces were in Awe
The lives that were lost
on this 911 day
Are here in our memory
and forever will stay |
