America's Nightmare 9-11 |
|
They stare with teary eyes, chanting they care, hearing their cries, they're showing us they need help don't let them down just yet, they're showing us they need help how much they regret, thousands died, only hundreds still alive, keeping up the spirit, shouting come on team lets hear it, bring one home for those loved ones, bring one home for those bystanders, bring one home for those workers... that died, everyone's a part of it... even the little boy crying at home all alone, watching the phone, waiting for that ring to tell him they're coming home, but they won't call, now he has no one at all, and for the rest of his life he won't fly in a plane, he's too scared he might fall, too scared he might hit that twin tower wall, and he can't explain what he's feeling at all, so while people ignore him, while they just don't care, he cries at home all alone... because that boy is still there. | Corrine Jacobs 8th Grade Copyright 2007 Listed 02/07/2007 |
