Our Women Veterans |
|
|
Once and a
while as I go about town
Usually I see female military
around.
Rarely they don't understand
what I say
We thank you for all you do
everyday.
Our country survives because
they are strong
Making our lives safe as they
carry on.
Every person owes them as they
serve
Not one of them works without
having nerve.
Very few people can know what
they do
Everyday actions give us what
we're due.
Thanking you just will not be
enough
Energy, knowledge, and being so
tough.
Remember the women who gave us
their time
All of us safe from the strength
that they find.
Now that we know that our women
serve, too
Sing out their praises, we all
do thank you. |
