Wild Horses Have No Home |
|
|
So many Americans
know only,
that 'Nam' was a war
so long ago.
When streets were filled
with anger,
and the Veterans
took the blow.
Coming home
together,
... they all came home alone,
to restless nights
of nightmares,
and Brothers carved in stone.
Now old!
They fade away
into a silent place
called home.
Memory at midnight,
of wild horses,
long ago.
Wild horses,
with no more need
to roam. |
