Warrior's Lament |
|
|
Sorrow descending, gently blending with tears for
years left unshed... shadows drifting, memories shifting,
voices calling from the dead... obligations feared
unfinished, guilt pressing undiminished, pulsing,
throbbing through his head; soul aching, heart breaking
from all the dark thoughts left unsaid. Contrition is
now a lasting condition, though he had himself fiercely
fought ... and bled. |
