In quiet fields close to home
Young men and women lie finally at peace
With their religious symbols placed on the markers
For these young men and women answered the call
In quiet fields far from home
They lie in peace in countries they fought for
Their final resting place cared for by those they saved
These young men and women died for freedom around the world
In these fields close and far from home
Twice a year people come to pay tribute to these young
warriors
So young were these men and women
Their lives given in the name of freedom
They gave their all and now they lie in peace
No longer will they feel the pain and suffering
For they are now at peace and in a far better place
May they now rest in eternal peace
