| They Serve Us All |  |
| I hope all can see
that it has never been about the individual "me",
as each brave one answered their nation's call
to proudly serve us all
no matter one's faith, color, affiliation,
social status, or financial situation.
They do so
like the minutemen did long ago,
whose heroic efforts gave birth to the USA,
and allow us to say
to this very day
that... "I am proud to be
an American . . . living free,
in the great land of liberty!
So, please give praise and thanks to
our noble, loyal troops and veterans too
with prayers to God to watch over them all
and comfort the loved ones of those who did valiantly fall. |
