Thank you for your sacrifices
That you made for our country
Thank you for serving in the desert heat of North Africa
That started the long road to victory
Thank you for responding to the invasion of Kuwait
That quickly liberated that small nation from oppression
Thank you for those that endured the hell
That can only describe forced marches and POW Camps
Thank you for your unselfish actions
That describes what America really is
Thank you for enduring the freezing cold
That was Korea, the Forgotten War
Thank you for serving in a jungle hell called Nam
That turned Americans against you because you served
Thank you for serving in peace and war
That is why our country is still a beacon of hope for others |
