| To Every Veteran |

I love this land, America,
and our Red, White and Blue,
And every noble patriot,
who loves this country, too,
Who's fought for freedom and liberty,
to keep this nation free,
And all who've served and are serving,
from sea to shining sea.
With pride in heart and spirit,
and love for one and all,
I honor and salute you,
for answering this nation's call,
To fight for and defend the cause
men fought for through the years,
To keep America safe and free,
and you deserve three cheers.
Hurray for the brave heroes
who've fought for liberty,
Sons and daughters of Uncle Sam,
who love it just like me,
And love our flag, Old Glory,
and what it stands for, too,
And with our hand upon our heart,
we salute YOU.
And with our heads bowed in prayer,
we thank the Lord above,
For helping safeguard freedom,
and those we dearly love,
Who now are serving in Iraq,
to free the people there,
And also in Afghanistan,
true freedom thus to share
With those who long have been oppressed,
and prayed that they might be
Free from pain and suffering,
and free from tyranny,
For all are Father's children,
His sons and daughters, too,
And Father wants them to be free,
His noble work to do.
So with hand upon our heart,
we honor you today,
And thank you for the courage
to defend the USA,
And for your willingness to serve
the cause of liberty,
Wherever you are called to serve,
to keep this nation free.
May God bless America,
and every Veteran, too,
Who's safeguarded our freedom,
and our Red, White and Blue,
And God bless the families
whose loved ones gave their all,
And died upon the battlefield
while standing brave and tall.
And may we kneel in humble prayer
and thank the Lord above,
For freedom and for liberty,
and for this land we love,
And for the men and women
who love this country, too,
And serve in the Armed Forces,
