Some Still Stand | |
| We have many men and women in a war this day Should or shouldn't it's been a long, long way Our loved ones have and are facing disaster there In a far away and evil country; we keep them in Prayer
Many have been slain for a far away land of greed Hostile to our sweet Jesus; planting bad seed We love and respect all and urge them to together band Many have died there, but some still stand.
No matter the violence; our troops will be Always together in thought; in harmony Blest be them and their families at home Some will come back; never more to roam.
We have the best in the world there; all contend Favored by America and most other at hand So many have fallen; heroes with God at rest So many families for safety; have given their best.
God bless America and our neighbors about Pray for our people to stand up and shout Many are still ready to give their life; give them a hand Many have died a hero's death, but some still stand. | Pearlie Duncan Walker Copyright 2006 http://www.obsv.com/wildfern/ Listed November 16, 2006 |
