The Remembrance |
|
|
Time falls
and we have all gone
away.
The Sun never turns back
to memory.
the Moon just pulls itself upon the night.
a child cries,
... a father hides
in darkness.
America goes on
time after time,
dawn to dawn,
America travels
and packs my luggage and laughs at my dreams.
I been all over the world,
but here,
here in America
I feel at home.
Alone is fine!
... smoke and redfire
clouds
fallin',
and all the dreams.
Voices call for soldiers,
Air force,
sailors,
and Marines.
We roll out at dawn
old and burned by war
... but we heard your call!
