Our Troops At War |
|
|
Lord, I pray for our troops again this day.
Praying the enemy's fight will surely delay.
Our troops are helping others Lord; bring them home.
Keep a watch on them God, don't let them roam.
They are tired and weary, and I know lonesome too.
Bring them back again Lord; we know that, you can do.
Every mother, father and sibling will bless Thee.
When you bring them home again where our needs be.
They have been gone long, and have had a hard time.
Bring them home God, let them, that mountain climb.
We wait for them and dream of them each day of life.
Somehow Sweet Savior, you can break the strife.
When will they be home; when will they call our name?
Touch their hearts God and let them know we are the same.
Help us look unto tomorrow, with trust inside our heart.
I pray they all know we've loved them, from the start.
Blessed be our Lord and maker; He will see their need.
Blessed be the day Lord that they have planted good seed.
I pray you will walk beside them; teach them your word.
I know it will be the sweetest story that we've ever heard. |
