| Our soldier boy; how we do miss you today?
We think of you over there; and go to our god and pray.
We pray He will keep you all safe there, in this war.
We miss you so much son, knowing you are away so far.
We know in our heart that God watches over all of you.
If we could not know how our Lord blesses, what would we do?
He will be there for you and all; Jesus will defend,
All the soldiers of America right to the very end.
We love and miss you our soldier son today and forever
We parents, friends and Country would forsake you never.
We love your comrades that are there and in danger too.
We pray God will be with the women and men to get through.
Keep up the humor for each other; let your heart be gay.
Try looking forward to the eventual ?going home day?.
We pray for you all and ask God to watch you true.
All here in America are proud, but anxious for you.
We pray God will end this war; let it be all through.
Talk to Him, lean on Him; He will help you in all you do.
All of you have been gone long, worked hard and true.
Keep praying to God every day; He will bring you through. |
