Never, My Friend |
|
|
They said. I can't forget. The hurt goes on.
Will it ever end: No, never... my friend
Only, if all is as before begun And such can not be
done
Will it ever end No, never... my friend
May you be strengthened by God above So you can
carry these memories with love
Shall you become
strong enough to win Yes, forever... my friend
To always remember your brother Is an honor for
him greater than any other
And when will this
honor end Never, if you will remember... my friend
Know that a circle of honor never ends To you, we
are forever grateful... my friends |

About
Author...
Faye Sizemore makes her home in the beautiful foothills of South Carolina with Grant, the love of her life, as well as three dogs, two cats, two parakeets and four nanny goats. Grant is a Vietnam Veteran having served with the US Marines in 1968-69 and is, of course, Faye's muse. Faye is deeply interested in Veterans' Affairs and Veterans' Causes. She is very proud of Grant and her poetry is an off-shoot of that pride.
