The Mystery of Liberty |
|
|
What Mystery?
... the heart that loves Liberty?
Perhaps my lady of liberty shall die
with me
upon a lonely plain of history.
A soldier...
lying with his old arms holding a symbol
in red and white...
and blue!
a soldiers message to the rest
of you... somewhere within the last breath
of his old poet soul...
You... and my last breath saying my
Love!
for all of you... and remembrance
of the brave we left upon
the battlefields of our youth!
... remembrance of our Brothers who fell away
unto the sweeping clock... the many days
that have placed a quiet sleep
upon the weary hands; hands... of time
... time sweeping us within patriot dreams of
Liberty
far... far
unto Eternity! |
