My National Anthem:
In honor of...Our Servicemen and Women |
|
Oh, their plane just flew in
With millions of people around.
Surrounding while cheering,
For their troops – they'd been found.
The stairs came right down,
And the soldiers appeared, with tears
In their eyes, as they ran to their families.
And when they got home.
They told stories of their own.
In excitement - kids stood
And adored, our dear soldiers.
And our soldiers are at home, now
With their families all asleep
And they pray - to the Lord...
That they all will stay safe. |
