Lost and Found |

|
We lost...
and in the silence
we found
... ourselves,
and fought on with brass and steel
... and the memory of the brave.
So far,
far
away,
from youth...
we were...
... and so many years ago.
Getting old is just
the quivering hand of fortune,
and a life
not seen as a gift.
Old is all remembrance
of the fire
when we were young.
Silence is a bonfire
of memory
... flaming the way
to them.
... and only them.
They are Not forgotten. |
