Elegy - for Mel |
|
|
Lives touched by grief, hearts aching without relief,
and on the wind, muffled cries, tears, lamentation,
endless sighs.
We are left to curse and mourn
another youth too soon gone; all that promise never to be
emptied into a martial sea.
Again beneath a silent
sky echoes the question, "Why, God? Why?" |
