The Dream... Again |

Folding a flag
hand to hand
and once again.
... folding
a flag within
a shadow dream
and memory
upon the cross
of liberty
... long ago.
Always the same dream... again
and again.
... just folding a flag
and holding him
as he died,
and then for another,
and another...,
and I am folding a flag
for all of them
forever...
in my heart. |
