Come Home
To Texas | |
|
Touch me now, tonight is all we have.
A thousand angels couldn't tear me away from a moment like
this.
The amazing feeling of me in your arms,
I will cherish every single memory down to our goodbye
kiss.
I know you will come home,
but selfishly I don't want you to go.
My heart and soul will travel with you,
God knows how I love you so.
Tell me you are coming back to me,
Promise me you will.
I will be waiting here for you,
Until you return, my world will remain still.
Think of me when you wake and when you sleep,
because in my head, daydreams of you I will keep.
I will wait for you with open arms to come home to,
So come home to Texas, come home to me too. |

who is being
deployed . . . waiting for his return to her. |
