Once again from the embattled past, More brothers
have been returned at last, Recovered from their foreign
beds, To rest in honor at home instead.
So many
more still remain behind; Though yet alive in loving
minds, They remain lost to the yearning arms, Of those
who wish they'd returned unharmed.
Since that desire
can never be, God grant this Nation will finally see,
On some soon, long-awaited day, Her last Nam son come
home to stay.
So many offered all there was to give,
Still, families pray that some yet live. If they do, God
sustain those men, And please, for us all, let it come to
an end. |
