The Circle... Unbroken |

Until such time
as all the Veterans of Vietnam
are gone forever,
no day shall pass,
that one, just one,
shall stand and bow,
... place his hand
in memory.
Time shall place it's laurels
upon the young,
and a proud nation
will move on.
Yet the wind of seasons
shall bring a grandchild,
and another, and yet
another, beside their aged fathers
... and yet some will visit alone.
The granite shall greet them
in the way of men who fought
for one another... men
who never forgot
each other,
Men, who carried each other
... home. |
