Bracelets... (Then and Now) |
|
|
Our hearts wear bracelets from a war
past.
Bracelets are broken
... along with our hearts.
Yet we who loved them shall stand
as long as we can.
Old grey-haired Soldiers
Sailors and Airmen
... along with old Marines
and the quiet Nurses and Medics from that war.
But mostly we stand with our loved ones
Our wives and children
and friends
