At The Wall |
|
|
bright sheen
a raven's wing
names
carved into memory
sky and trees
clouds
reflecting
moving
upon carved names
a breeze the whispers
time past
dry leaves
falling in their youth
gone
to a storm
a war
silence
and tears
... none blamed
none defamed
our history has grown old with us
shadows fall
beside us
voices
call us home
touch them
see them again
America is your home. |
