I fought the war of Independence,
World wars one and
Two.
Korea, Vitetnam,
Desert Storm, now Iraq too.
I've gone wherever duty called'
and honorably served
with pride.
I've seen the bloody gates of hell,
and
yes often-times I've died.
I've suffered many
indignities,
I've lost all that one can loose.
Of all
the countries in the world,
not another would I choose.
I'm the men and women,
who served brave and true.
and stood tall for america,
the red white and blue.
I'm those that gave their all,
that America might
live,
with liberty for me and you,
Freedom is the gift
