A Moment of Silence |
|
|
Memory remains
our war
was very long ago
the heroes of Vietnam
write no words
no letters
home
say nothing at all
in sunlight
bright
or in storms
within the dark of night
they are silent
resting
upon black granite
side by side
and all together
names
upon the Wall. |
