Without You | |
| Sometimes I wonder, how different my life would be, If there weren't soldiers out there, fighting for our country.
The one's who stand tall, and put their life on the line, Who refuse to forget anyone, and make sure no man is left behind.
It's these people who will die, for the red, white, and blue, and for freedom in our country, they're fighting for me and you.
For the small choices we make, and the things that we decide, The one's who give us these privileges, and fill us with American pride.
They fight for small things, that may not seem like a big deal, But what would it be like, if you were told how to feel?
If someone told you, how to dress or what to be, Or even if they told you, what you had to believe.
Without them we'd have no choices. Could you imagine how it'd be, if our country did not have, the U.S. Army?
So when you see a soldier, stop and say thank you, For everything they've done, and everything they will do.
Thank them for making our country, such a great place to be... the land of the brave, and the home of the free. | By Ashley Palmer Copyright 2004 |
