United We Stand | |
| We need to stand together, "One nation under God," Deserving of our freedom, and this nation's fertile sod, And like our "Founding Fathers," hold true to the faith, And what our nation stands for, and what our constitution sayeth.
Many noble patriots have fought for liberty, And many also gave their lives to keep this nation free, And many yet shall give their lives upon the battlefield, To safeguard this, our nation, and never, ever yield,
Because they believe in the cause that they are fighting for, To keep our enemy at bay, and away from our shore, So we America's citizens, may live in freedom here, And also so their loved ones may banish every fear.
We need to stand together, or we'll be torn apart, And lose both freedom and liberty, and pain each noble heart Of both the living and the dead who've bravely fought the fight, And given their last measure for what they knew was right.
God bless us as a nation, and as a people, too, And may we fly our nation's flag, 'tis our Red, White and Blue, And keep our banner waving o'er land and o'er the sea, Protecting and defending this land of liberty.
And may each noble patriot stand fast against the foe, Remembering the price we paid to help freedom grow, Not only in America, but around the world, too, Who are proud of America, and our Red, White and Blue.
May God bless America, and keep our banner free, Free to help other nations to know true liberty, And free to be the chosen land who wants to right the wrong, And make the world a better place with victory our song. | By James H. Lee, Jr. Copyright 2007 Listed July 3, 2007 |
