To Be An American |

This little piece won't take long
Because, it's simple as can be
Life in these United States
Is really great, but it's not free.
There are some responsibilities
And some laws all must obey
You can't just sneak into our Country
Be above the law, expect to stay.
If you choose to come here legally
And want to become an American
You must learn the language and our ways
For, that's the way that it should be done.
If you want to wave another flag
We want to make it very, very clear
Just go back to where you came from
Because, we don't need or want you here. |
