The Many and the Few |
|
|
History asks questions
of the many.
History
has a way of forgetting
the few.
The truth of courage
remains...
and the warrior
walks on.
Finds a woman... loving
and true.
Their child
shall be called...
Liberty!
... and so
I walk in silence
and alone.
To welcome the sunset.
Welcome the embrace of darkness.
Dawn shall whisper my name.
Love shall remember me.
America will wipe away
a small tear from her eye...
... and say once
and for the last time...
my name.
I...
am a son,
... once again
... son of my own child.
I...
am the son
of Liberty! |
