Just Dreamin' |
|
|
A bright fire
and the laughter of friends.
Two ol' Dogs and three Cats
sleepin'
to the music of Skynard' on the wind.
A 69 Camaro
covered up
in the old shed.
Hearing
just one more time...
the angels singing Gospel songs
at the Ebenezer Baptist Church.
Sittin' by the Ogeechee River
fishin' for nuthin' but myself.
Saying goodbye to the young soldiers
with tears in my eyes.
Flying my Flag!
Holding you in my arms, forever
... Diane. |
