Freedom Be Thy Name | |
| You are a beacon of hope across the world, America! Its glory behold.
Never before has freedom reigned so strong, Knights and Kings and Empires have died, Everyone came here and "freedom" they cried,
Every man and every child were tired of their world of lies. For liberty the world had never prized, Unlike our soldiers under foreign skies.
Cost of freedom, paid with their lives, Kingdom of Heaven awaits for those who died.
Every race is equal under our flag, Religion is free as are learning and caring, Given to us by an old declaration, On that day when we became a nation, Here in America were Jesus had walked, On this very land His teachings are taught.
Might you not believe me, come over and see, Everyone in this country is free. | By Yuri VanKerr Copyright 2006 Listed 11/13/2006 |
