The American Parade |
| There's going to be an American Parade! We're there! Incredible! I saw an incredible bald eagle filled with courage, It sounded like a trumpet in a famous band, I felt filled with honor, I tasted a recipe of courage, And I smelled apple pie! Tons of smiling faces for the men that fought in wars Everybody was filled with honor and courage. Floats, fireworks, autographs from the mayor And soldiers from all wars. Finally, the time came. Everybody said the "Pledge of Allegiance" And everyone said it proudly. It was an incredible American Parade With costumes, confetti, clowns Flags, dancing, decorations and a band. I had so much fun on that day Showing my pride for my country. | Chase 4th Grade Copyright 2006 Listed 11/14/2006Poem "recognized for creative excellence" by School District of Lee County, Ft.
