After a hundred years of Hope, we hold back the tears
For we've reached the end of the Hopeful Years
Here's to
Bob, who dedicated so much of his life
To bringing
laughter in the midst of war's strife
Generations of
warriors give thanks for the light
That he brought to
them in the dark of war's night
God's Grace and God's
speed as he leaves life's shore
To meet with the troops
who have gone before
The legions are waiting, some
perched high in trees
To thank him for those joyous
memories.
