Our Fallen Soldiers |
|
|
I stand in awe and reverence As I see memorialized
All those brave young soldiers Who fought and lost their
lives
They died for home and country For freedom
isn't free The cost is great and precious That price
for liberty
They gave their lives with honor We
know, for we were there We fought with them side by side
Of their bravery, we're aware
We saw our fellow
soldiers fall We held them in our arms And prayed that
God would save them Through hellish wars alarms
We
realize God did save them For He sent his only begotten
Son Christ paid the ultimate price for freedom He died
and we all won
Because of his great sacrifice We
all will live again Our bodies will be whole once more
And perfect down to each limb
All these great men and
women Will come forth on resurrection day They'll be
clothed in light and glory For their lives they
selflessly gave away |
