After The Fire | |
|
After the fire, the angels were crying raindrop tears,
for our nine firemen who had absolutely no fears.
They died doing exactly what they loved to do,
they dedicated their lives to their communities, too.
After the fire, the angels were crying raindrop tears,
we have lost nine firemen and their work of over a 100 years.
There could never be anyone to take their place,
now we have to mourn and pray for God's grace.
After the fire, the angels were crying raindrop tears,
these nine are angels in heaven in their turnout gear.
We look up to them and we just drop our heads to pray,
their love and memories are locked in our hearts to stay.
After the fire, the angels were crying raindrop tears,
their determination and spirit will live on for years.
We are all stunned and shocked at our great loss,
but they gave their lives and they never counted the cost.
After the fire, the angels were crying raindrop tears from above.
We will never forget their enduring and unconditional love.
We just pray to God through the tears to help us carry on,
but we know through their memories and courage we won't feel alone. |
