Adios! Marine! |
|
|
It has been one year
Marine,
... since you died,
and this old soldier cried.
Day to day
I remember you and I
matching pay checks and buying
pizza
back in 1968.
When the gals were happy,
and we went to the package store
... shared a six-pack.
and drove back toward home.
I will always remember you
Brother
of mine.
