Our Journey |
|
|
We were waiting for class standing in the hall I looked
over and seen you down the isle against the wall I didn't
know who you were until your friend came over to me He
said you thought I was hot and asked what my response would
be.
I smiled and told him you and I could chat and
see where it goes What happened from there only the the
good lord knows he sent me you to complete my life and
take my hand he knew that side by side we would stand
We finished high school together, you a year before me
You had signed that line, a soldier you wanted to be I
finished up school while you were gone I seen you
graduate basic and I knew you were the one
You came
home and we knew what we wanted with our life Soon after
that I was blessed to be your wife I was nervous and
happy to walk down the isle I walked up to you in your
uniform and seen your big smile
I knew from that day
forward you had stole my heart And it was just you and I,
till death do us part. You were a soldier and I said,
"Hi!"
