My Hero |
|
|
My baby is leaving me today I don't know how long
he'll be away. He is going to a far away land so he
can lend a helping hand.
I take him in my arms so
tight not wanting him to take this flight. My tears
flow as pouring rain as I'm not able to mask my pain.
He is a Marine, so proud and so tall ready to answer
his nations' call. He keeps our enemy's plans at bay
as he watches them each day.
I reminisce on our first
hello, our first kiss so long ago. So many memories,
so much fun He is my Hero, he is my son. |
